As we head into another lockdown, here is an update from AWF and some reassurance that we can all get through this (again)!
#AmbulanceWish #CommunitySpirit #LocalGiving
Firstly let's clarify some of the rules for the new lockdown as it's slightly different to back in March.
- You can meet up with one person from outside your household or support bubble in an outdoor public space (provided you maintain social distancing and neither of you are supposed to be self-isolating)
- 'Bubbles' exist! If you are living in a single adult household, you can mix freely with one other nominated household of any size.
- Click and collect services are available as this involves minimal contact.
- You can take unlimited exercise (and travel to do so if necessary)
Hopefully this information is a helpful reminder and relief to some at a time full of stress and confusion.
And now, some positive news!
Like last lockdown, AWF is here for you. We will try to provide helpful ideas for tackling boredom, worry and stress. So keep an eye on our website and social media channels.
We are also beginning to make plans for the charity moving forward. More news on this coming soon!
If you would like to donate or fundraise for us, we have a new page where you can find lots of information and inspiration: https://localgiving.org/charity/ambulance-wish-foundation/
In the meantime stay safe and warm and remember to check in on your loved ones.
Remember, if you need support it is available
