Volunteer Application Requirements

  • Reference DBS / certification number (where DBS checks are required, the relevant ID will be needed to complete the DBS)
To be completed by Volunteer Drivers
  • All the above
  • Occupational Health questionnaire
  • Driving license check (code to be provided on the application)
If your application is successful, you will be sent a welcoming email that will include:
  • a link to the policies and procedures, with a declaration to sign agreeing you have read and understood them. 
  • Information on the relevant training available  
  • Teams and volunteer portal access information

This may be a previous or current employer, neighbour, headteacher or a previous volunteering project. Please note that a referee cannot be a relative or a member of the Ambulance Wish Management Team.

All volunteers working for The Ambulance Wish Foundation UK are required to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
